# How to book an adult psychiatric telehealth visit in Texas

Who can use Texas telehealth, how insurance and self-pay requests differ, and what happens after requesting a visit.

## Where do I need to be for Texas telehealth?

Her Mind & Wellness offers adult telehealth psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care when you are physically in Texas at the time of your appointment. The practice will confirm suitability, visit requirements, and a mutually agreed time. Being a Texas resident does not override the location requirement if you are outside Texas during the visit.

## What happens when I use Headway?

If you plan to use insurance, choose the Headway link from the practice website. Headway is a separate platform where you can check your specific coverage, estimated costs, and appointment options. Do not assume every insurance plan or requested appointment is available.

## What happens after a self-pay request?

For direct self-pay care, send a request using the practice form and choose the telehealth visit preference. The practice follows up to discuss the request and confirm a time. A request is not a booking confirmation, and the form is not intended for emergency or detailed clinical information.

## How much does self-pay cost?

An initial 60-minute self-pay evaluation is $175 and a 30-minute self-pay follow-up is $95. A free 15-minute introductory consultation can help you ask about the practice; it is not a diagnostic evaluation or prescribing visit.

## What should I prepare for the first conversation?
